Support my challenge to care for young Western Australians

Every school day across Western Australia, 250,000 students walk into a school where someone knows their name. In 2025, YouthCARE chaplains and volunteers showed up in 600 school communities and 38 sporting clubs across the state, from the Kimberley to the Great Southern.

They sat with students navigating hard things, served nearly 700,000 meals through Breakfast Club, delivered 30,760 wellbeing sessions, and supported more than 10,000 athletes and their families on the sidelines.

260,000 people. One consistent presence. Ridiculously good care.

Update on our Wheatbelt Chappies RIDICULOUSLY GOOD challenge for YouthCARE in May... Collecting photos of our team and what we do (for phenomenal music video, coming soon!) is a hard ask when our hands and hearts are often busy or we are having too much fun with everyone ;0) But here are some of a few of the team that we've collected. Dear friends, we are a bunch of Chaplains in the Wheatbelt passionate about serving our school communities in love !! Our amazing employer YouthCARE is asking us to do something "ridiculously good" in May 2026, and we have decided to WRITE and PERFORM a SONG together, with a reel to make you see just how versatile, widespread and fun we can be in our roles ;0) Watch this space for brave updates (eek!) and support YouthCARE in supporting our school communities if you feel called to!
