Support my challenge to care for young Western Australians

Every school day across Western Australia, 250,000 students walk into a school where someone knows their name. In 2025, YouthCARE chaplains and volunteers showed up in 600 school communities and 38 sporting clubs across the state, from the Kimberley to the Great Southern.

They sat with students navigating hard things, served nearly 700,000 meals through Breakfast Club, delivered 30,760 wellbeing sessions, and supported more than 10,000 athletes and their families on the sidelines.

260,000 people. One consistent presence. Ridiculously good care.

Your support helps provide ridiculously good care to young Western Australians.

Chaos Cause <3

Throughout May, I’ll be taking on ridiculous office challenges, staff games and workplace pranks to raise funds for YouthCARE and help support neurodivergent children in schools across Western Australia.

There will be running races, dance-offs, mystery pranks, trivia battles, planking contests and plenty of office embarrassment.

But behind the fun is something deeply important.

Many neurodivergent children experience school differently.

  • For some, the classroom can feel overwhelming.
  • Noise can feel louder.
  • Change can feel harder.
  • Friendships can feel more complex.

Everyday situations others take for granted can require enormous effort.

Sometimes what makes the biggest difference is simply having the right support, someone who understands, encourages, advocates and helps them feel safe, valued and capable.

🎯 What You’ll Get to Watch

  • Running race between staff
  • Dance challenges
  • Grab the mic singing battle
  • Push up challenge
  • Arm wrestle showdown
  • Secret office pranks
  • Trivia battles
  • Egg & spoon race

And more…

🚀 Race Day Recap 🚀 1 May

Wednesday 6th May
Well, we survived the race, and let me just say, some of us haven’t sprinted since “running late for a meeting” became our cardio! 🏃‍♂️💨

Here’s how it went down:

The Start Line: An office full of enthusiastic “athletes” who clearly mistook this for a walk in the park. Some were stretching like they were about to break world records, while others were just hoping not to break something! 😂

The Dash: Our fearless boss, Tamsyn Cullingford  MBA, GAICD was carefully judging, while some of us crossed the finish line desperately searching for anyone who might know first aid. There may have been a little competitiveness involved! 😅

And let’s not forget the results: Tyler Shand took home the crown, with Jason Cox  almost sneaking in to claim first place, seriously, where did that silent speed come from? 🏆 There are some fast people at YouthCARE!

But truly, every laugh, every awkward moment, and every sore muscle was all for an incredible cause!

Thanks for supporting our wild antics! And please excuse my editing skills in the video, let’s just say they’re a work in progress! Stay tuned for more adventures this week!
