Support my challenge to care for young Western Australians

Every school day across Western Australia, 250,000 students walk into a school where someone knows their name. In 2025, YouthCARE chaplains and volunteers showed up in 600 school communities and 38 sporting clubs across the state, from the Kimberley to the Great Southern.

They sat with students navigating hard things, served nearly 700,000 meals through Breakfast Club, delivered 30,760 wellbeing sessions, and supported more than 10,000 athletes and their families on the sidelines.

260,000 people. One consistent presence. Ridiculously good care.

Your support helps provide ridiculously good care to young Western Australians.

Help me support YouthCARE today

***Help me run 100kms during the month of May***
As most of you know my job as both Sports Chaplain and School Chaplain with YouthCARE Australia is a huge passion and privilege for me. Every year, chaplains across WA have more than 101,000 conversations with young people. Real meaningful moments that provide care, support, and hope when it’s needed most.
I am taking on this challenge to raise $2,000 and will be running 100kms during the month of May to support the incredible work of my employer, YouthCARE. If you would like to join me for a run, you absolutely can!
This is only small but a meaningful way to recognise those moments us Chaplains have and raise funds to help keep Chaplains like me and 450 other Chaplains in our schools, sports clubs (and many more places) to continue to be available to students who need it most.
Thanks so much for your donation, support and for helping me support our upcoming future leaders and communities.

Day 3 - 14th May

Friday 15th May
A new PB for me last night!   I ran 11 kms!!!!!   I have never been able to run more than 10kms at a time.  What a moment that was :)

Let's just say I struggled to walk from my car to front door when I returned home HAHA!

Finished off with my favourite Cyclone Ice Cream.

I have included a few very unflattering photos of me covered in 11 kms of sweat (eeewwww)

Day 2 - 13th May - 10kms

Thursday 14th May
Ran a big 10kms tonight. What a good feeling that was knowing every step taken was support my fellow chaplains.

85kms to go!

Day 1 - 12th May - 5kms

Thursday 14th May
First day running, only 5kms as I didn't have as much time as I needed.
