A Laugh, Not a Lecture
I am someone who enjoys satire and a bit of sarcastic humour. For this fundraiser, I will be sharing moments of laughter for those who find traditional affirmations a bit cringey but still appreciate a word hug and some shared laughter.
Life can be heavy, and humour can be one of the ways we remind each other that we are not alone in it. As a chaplain, I see every day how moments of lightness, honesty, and shared laughter can help people pause, breathe, and feel a little less weighed down in the middle of hard things.
To start, here are a couple of lines from one of my favourite shows. If you know… you know 😉
“There’s nothing on my horizon except everything. Everything’s on my horizon.”
“I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.”

Wonderful work
