Ridiculously Good Campaign – Terms and Conditions of Participation
By registering for the Ridiculously Good campaign via the Funraisin platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Campaign Purpose
The Ridiculously Good campaign is a fundraising initiative designed to raise $250,000 in its first year to support YouthCARE’s chaplaincy programs across Western Australia. The campaign celebrates the "ridiculously good" work of chaplains by inviting the community to use their own unique gifts and talents to raise funds.
2. Participation and Registration
Registration: All participants must create a fundraising profile through the Funraisin platform.
Challenges: Participants may choose their own creative challenge or select from the "Ridiculously Good List," such as a Ridiculously Good Run, Bake Sale, or Coffee Morning.
Eligibility: Individuals, teams, schools, churches, and businesses are all encouraged to participate.
3. Fundraising Guidelines
Direct Impact: All funds raised generate financial support for YouthCARE’s work in strengthening the wellbeing of young people.
Peer-to-Peer: Participation is based on a peer-to-peer model where you invite your personal and professional networks to donate to your specific challenge.
Monitoring: YouthCARE will track campaign metrics, including the number of donors and total funds raised, to measure collective impact.
4. Content and Media Usage
Storytelling: Participants are encouraged to share their "Ridiculously Good" journey through photos, short-form video reels, and personal stories.
Publicity Consent: By uploading user-generated content (UGC) to the platform, you grant YouthCARE permission to use this content for public promotion and social media storytelling.
Branding: Participants may use official campaign merchandise, such as digital profile frames and stickers, to build campaign identity.
5. Health and Safety
Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for ensuring their chosen challenge is safe and appropriate.
Physical Challenges: For activities involving physical exertion (e.g., the 101,000 steps or 7,500 sit-ups challenges), participants should ensure they are in a fit state to complete the activity safely.
Appropriateness: All challenges must align with the community-driven, supportive spirit of YouthCARE.
6. Recognition and Awards
Official Designations: Schools, churches, and businesses may be officially recognised as "Ridiculously Good" entities based on their participation.
Campaign Celebration: YouthCARE may host a celebration at the conclusion of the campaign to recognise top fundraisers and the most creative challenges.
7. Data Privacy
Platform Use: Your information is collected via Funraisin to manage your profile and track campaign participation.
